Many blue chips in STI would expect to see a gap up in price on this coming Monday.
What is my plan?
- Jardine C&C - it would go XD on Monday. Based on Friday closing price @ $23.58 and dividend of about $0.96, opening price may be around $22.62.
- Singtel - its chance to play catch up due to this rumor Amazon in talks to buy US$2b stake in Singtel associate Bharti Airtel. May purchase more on weak selling.
- UOB - its price may take this chance to fill gaps on 8 and 9 Mar 2020 ($23.68, $23.20). I may want to do a re-invest similar to Jardine C&C mentioned in STI playing catch-up on lifting of circuit breaker.
The above plan would depend on how the prices move on Monday.
