Roller coaster ride in stock markets

for past 3 weeks, especially for Chinese stocks. Most of Chinese stocks shown a bullish reversal candle this week.

Singapore Banks continue to surge

pass their recent highs in anticipate a few interest rate hikes in 2022. Err.. maybe OCBC still lagging a bit.

After http://ainvestor.blogspot.com/2021/11/continue-to-show-signs-of-bottoming-for.html, could I say this may be reversal of China tech stocks after Alibaba shows a double bottom in its chart. Remind myself that time in market is more important than timing the market :)

I would continue to sell options (in both US and HK markets) to reduce the average prices of my stocks.

I have started a new position in Ascott Trust when its price plunged below $1 since I always want to invest in a hospitality reit.

Divested some Jardine C&C @ $19.65.

Alibaba break above 50dMA

yesterday. Technically, it has formed a double bottom, and I would continue my purchase of Alibaba shares.

As mentioned in https://ainvestor.blogspot.com/2021/06/my-oversea-portfolio-has-reached.html, I have subscribed to Mapletree Industrial Trust rights via Tiger Brokers and Moomoo, and was allocated a total of 400 shares. FYI, Tiger Brokers does not allow application of excess shares, whereas, Moomoo has given me some excess shares :)

IReit Global has announced another rights issue, and would be doing an advance distribution of $0.0223. Some important dates:

By end of this month, my oversea portfolio would be 12 months old. I would publish a post to show its stocks and how they have performed. 

Sell in May and

go away. With this in mind, I have started to slow down my investment since May. Currently, Alibaba share price is trapped in lower high and higher low. I would plan my next purchase at 78.6% fib retracement or when its price breaks above 50dMA.

First purchase of Palantir

@ US$19.71 on 14 May 2021 in the process of trying out selling covered options. Currently, this purchase is sitting on some profit, and I am going to sell covered options to lower the purchase price.

Mapletree Industrial Trust has gone XR, and I holding some of MIT shares in both Tiger Brokers and Moomoo. I am still trying to figure out how to subscribe its shares via these trading platform. If you have any idea, please leave a comment to let me know. Thanks.
