A big divergence between US and

China stock markets. I believe some convergence would take place sooner or later; what goes up would come down and vice versa.

As mentioned in https://ainvestor.blogspot.com/2021/04/rebalance-local-portfolio.html, some of my fund has been reallocated to REITs and trusts for past few months, and they are currently sitting on about 41% of my local portfolio.

Divested some Capitaland @ $4.08.
Added SGX @ $10.08.
Added Keppel DC Reit @ $2.51.
Added Mapletree Log Tr @ $2.03.
Sold all ARKX @ US$20.82.
Divested most of ASHR @ US$37.90.
Divested some Palantir @ US$25 (via options).

Are we in the Capitulation phase

for China tech bear market?

No doubt that China tech stocks are in bear market. Using KWEB ETF as reference, its price has dropped about 60% from its peak. The stock price of big China tech stocks such as Alibaba and Tencent, etc. have collapsed about 16% and 12% respectively for the past 1 week with high volume. The price movement looks similar to the Capitulation phase as describe below:

From https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/capitulation.asp

Capitulation is when investors give up any previous gains in any security or market by selling their positions during periods of declines. Capitulation can happen at any time, but typically happens during high volume trading and extended declines for securities. A market correction or bear market often leads investors to capitulate or panic sell. The term is a derived from a military term which refers to surrender.

From https://www.dsij.in/DSIJArticleDetail/ArtMID/10163/ArticleID/12212/Market-cycles-and-emotions

Stage 3: Panic, capitulation & despondency

In the third stage, people start seeing the realities of a bear market and they may panic and to stop further losses, they in fact, move out of the market altogether. Those who still hold on to be in the market, become despondent and wonder if the markets would ever recover or whether they should stay in the market at all. The irony of the market is that, at these times, investor fails to recognise as currently, they are at the point of a maximum financial opportunity.

Even if we are currently in Capitulation phase, there is no way to tell how long it would last. However, as an investor, we would need to be able to hold through this rainy season.

Divested some Capitaland @ $4.01.
Bought SembCorp @ $1.94.
Added SGX @ $10.67.
Added ST Engineering @ $3.95.
Added 9988 @ HK$167.

US-listed China education stocks plunged

on Friday as Beijing regulators crack down. KWEB and BABA dropped 8.84% and 3.51% respectively. My oversea portfolio goes from -6% to -9% and KWEB is about -46% from its peak. I am not worry as long as the fundamental of these companies are still good :)

Be greedy when others are fearful.

I am happy to receive 1144 excess shares of IReit Global from its rights application.

Divested some Capitaland @ $3.87.
Added CapLand Int C Tr @ $2.10.
Added BABA @ US$204.

My oversea stock portfolio move deeper

into red; currently down by -3.18%. I would continue with DCA, but at a slower pace as I realized that I have been quite aggressive over past few months. I have decided to add more Capitaland as I believe it would move up before end of this year due to its restructuring, and technically, it has hit 50MA.

Divested some STI ETF @ $3.20.
Added Capitaland @ $3.575.
Added KWEB @ US$72.90.
Added Alibaba @ US$225.52.

I am a newbie

to options trading, and have started to try selling covered options. As you know, I have an oversea portfolio in which ASHR and KWEB already have more than 100 shares. I would want to explore selling covered options to earn some quick cash. I would share my experience at appropriate time.

This week, I continue to rebalance local portfolio as shown below. As for my oversea portfolio, it has finally gotten out of red after sinking for about 1 month.

Divested some OCBC @ $11.96.
Divested some SGX @ $10.52.
Divested some Singtel @ $2.63.
Added Capitaland @ $3.735.
Added HSTECH @ $1.381.
Added ARKX @ US$20.24.

Changes to 2021 plan

mentioned in https://ainvestor.blogspot.com/2020/12/summary-for-2020.html. Due to a better bonus from company, I am planning to increase my total investment capital such that my local portfolio and oversea portfolio would reach $200k and US$29k respectively by end of this year.

Sold some UOB @ $25.99.
Added Capitaland @ $2.78.
Added Alibaba @ US$225.25.

My oversea portfolio sink into red

while local portfolio continues to outperform.

CapitaLand has decided to privatize its development arm and consolidate its investment management and lodging platforms into CapitaLand Investment Management (CLIM). The implied consideration price for shareholders is attractive, at a significant 24-28% premium to its last Friday closing price of $3.31, with CapitaLand shareholders expected to receive an implied consideration of S$4.102 for every CapitaLand share.

Thus, I cannot control my itchy finger, and decided to add some CapitaLand when its share price retreats to $3.70.

Added CapitaLand @ $3.70.
Added CapitaLand China Tr @ $1.36.
Added KWEB @ US$80.05.
Added Alibaba @ US$230.41.
Sold some DBS @ $28.55.

I have also registered a Moomoo account, deposit of at least $2700, and made 3 trading transactions. With these 3 simple steps, I have gotten $30 stock voucher and ONE AAPL share for FREE!!

If you are interested to sign up a Moomoo account, and do not have a referral link from your friends, please use mine: https://j.moomoo.com/004Sla

Thanks :)
