For past 4 weeks, these are the transactions:
Local Portfolio (S$)
for past 3 weeks, especially for Chinese stocks. Most of Chinese stocks shown a bullish reversal candle this week.
For past 3 weeks:
Happy Chinese New Year 2022!!
For past 2 week:
RED, as I have been focusing more on China tech stocks. However, they have recovered quite a bit for past 1 to 2 weeks. For US portfolio, from -25% to -14%, and for HK portfolio, from -16% to -5%. I am practicing *** diamond hands *** as I believe in the companies that I am holding.
At the same time, I am using options to collect premium to help in the recovery. From the past 5 months since I started learning options trading, I have collected US$2200.
more fear in the stock market as shown by the Fear & Greed Index. So what do you plan to do?
No one could know when is the bottom for China tech sector. What I would do is to continue DCA on 9988 and 3067, and to practice ***diamond hand***.CapitaLand has been replaced with CapitaLandInvest. Its share price has surged up from the consideration price of $2.823, closed at $3.30 on Friday. I have made some adjustment to my local portfolio spreadsheet, and CapitaLandInvest is currently the 2nd best performance!
for China tech bear market?
No doubt that China tech stocks are in bear market. Using KWEB ETF as reference, its price has dropped about 60% from its peak. The stock price of big China tech stocks such as Alibaba and Tencent, etc. have collapsed about 16% and 12% respectively for the past 1 week with high volume. The price movement looks similar to the Capitulation phase as describe below:
From https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/capitulation.asp
Capitulation is when investors give up any previous gains in any security or market by selling their positions during periods of declines. Capitulation can happen at any time, but typically happens during high volume trading and extended declines for securities. A market correction or bear market often leads investors to capitulate or panic sell. The term is a derived from a military term which refers to surrender.

Stage 3: Panic, capitulation & despondencyis at $2.65; representing about 5% discount from the current price. Under the preferential offering at an allotment ratio of 5 new units for every 100 existing units, I would be allocated 225 shares. However, I would try to apply for more shares :)
This week's purchases:
while US and China markets are showing volatility. STI has managed to stay above 3000 which has turned support. However, do note that there is a gap created above 3000 which may need to be filled up.
I continue to strengthen both my local and oversea portfolio:
with both S&P 500 and STI down ~4% from recent peak. I would monitor the 50MA and 100MA of S&P 500.
I have taken the chance to broaden my portfolio by including Mapletree Logistics Trust @ $1.99. Currently, I have a total of 17 stocks in my local portfolio.
Also added:
for STI. We should be able to see a clearer picture next week to determine whether it is support turn resistance level.
I have decided to make my future share purchase via Tiger Brokers because its low fee is too attractive, and really make a different to me as a small investor.
Managed to divest all my SGX @ $8.84, and purchase the following:
what it gained last week. Easy come, easy go. LOL.
All companies in my portfolio have announced their results, and most of them are weak, but within expectation. Dividend yield also drop as compared to previous year.
I believe previous quarter is the worst, and will continue to build up my portfolio. Manage to nibble the following:
STI ranged between 2506 and 2596.
