2000 and 100 points plunge

to Dow and STI respectively. No one know whether this is a start of next bear market and just volatility before US Presidential election.

I just stick to my plan to purchase the following:

  • SGX @ $8.77
  • CMT @ $1.83
  • OCBC @ $8.46
  • ASHR @ US$35.81

STI ranged between 2420 and 2540.

STI continues to weaken

and may test 2500 in coming week.

The following companies in my portfolio have released result:
  • CapitaMall Trust
  • AIMS
  • SembCorp

Nibbled on:
  • DBS @ $20.66.
  • SembCorp @ $1.74.
  • ASHR @ US$32.58 (via Tiger Brokers)

STI ranged between 2572 and 2644.

A shorter trading week

since Friday is Singapore Polling Day 2020. STI continue to under-perform as compared to other markets. Will there is another wave of catch-up (similar to the one at the start of June 2020)?

Only added some CapitaMall Trust @ $2.03.
Another reason why I slow down my purchase is that Jul to Sep are usually ''sideway'' based on past statistics.

STI ranged between 2652 and 2707.

Sell hiGH, Buy LOw

Did I manage to follow my plan mentioned in dow-jones-jumped-829-points?

Let's see:
  • Jardine C&C did not reach $22.62 on Monday, but added some @ $22.37 on Thursday.
  • Added Singtel @ $2.64.
  • UOB filled the big gap @ $23.20 on Tuesday; sold some @ $23.30. Later on Thursday, bought them back @ $22.46 for upcoming dividend.
In addition:
  • Sold some DBS @ $23.40 since it filled a gap on Monday, and bought them back @ $22.39 on Thursday.
  • Added STI ETF @ $2.746.
  • Added OCBC @ $9.03.
  • Bought CapitaMall Trust @ $1.99.
There are lots of actions happening on Thursday and Friday as STI plunged 96 and 19 points respectively. This week, STI ranged between 2609 to 2839.
